National Guard Association of Washington - The National Guard Association of Washington was incorporated in 1891 as a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the welfare and interests of the National Guard. Today, well over a century later, the NGAW has the same mission. The organization's primary focus continues to be petitioning Congress for the resources needed to obtain better equipment, standardized training and, ultimately, a more combat ready force.
